Flanna & Winston Wedding!

July 18, 2012

“There’s lots of good fish in the sea…maybe…but the vast masses seem to be mackerel or herring, and if you’re not mackerel or herring yourself, you are likely to find very few good fish in the sea.” – DH Lawrence

So, as I have already explained in the previous post, Flanna is one of my good college friends, and it was an honor to be able to photograph her wedding last month in Montana!  During college, Flan was WAY creative [she maybe should have been an art major], walking into her dorm room was like an explosion of fun colors;  I was so excited to see how she poured all that creativity into her wedding.  Everything from the beautiful and colorful jewelry, the cowboy boots, the elaborate and thought out center pieces [her favorite books/flowers], the ceremony location [right next to the water], the reception site….  It was beautiful.  All of it was GREAT.

On our way to do engagement photographs a few days before, we stopped by this little shop that sold the BEST donuts EVER.  Turns out the same lady [Nancy], also did the cupcakes for the reception [amazing].

It was so great to see you guys, and spend time with your little family.  Winston and Flanna, you are a fantastic couple!  Thank you so much for the opportunity to capture/party on your wedding day!

Love the light and airy feeling of the wedding – Awesome shots! I’m especially partial to the feet/boots pic :)
