Bonni + Bump!

March 29, 2014

“The thing that’s nice about pregnancy is that in the end, you have a baby.” -Ann Romney B-B-FAVfb001_fb So, it’s been a while since I’ve updated the blog.  Truth be told, winter is slow for photographers!  And since we’ve been experiencing the WORST.WINTER.EVER [no hyperbole, I swear ;)], I haven’t really wanted to get out and photo much. BUT, this year is sort of big for a few of my friends and I, ’cause we’re turning the big 30!  Hooray!  Since it’s a monumental number we’re approaching, Bonni and Whitney and I planned a little getaway to Phoenix, Arizona to celebrate.  While we were there [in between copious amounts of pool time, looking at art, and just generally enjoying our time in a state that actually had sun shining on it] I was also able to get Bonni in front of my camera again.  I’ve been photographing Bonni since we were in college [good old black and white film, and awesome hat’s and outfits], and so it was only natural, since she was 6 months along in her pregnancy, that we should get some desert/mountain/preggo images. So here they are.  I love them. Hope you guys enjoy too!

~Maike

ps: Hopefully I’ll also put a short blog on here soon of images from my wonderfully warm, sunny, relaxing trip down to the southwest!phx-t-FAVfb001_fb B-B-FAV019a_fbB-B-FAV003_fbB-B-FAV016_fbB-B-FAV017a_fbB-B-FAV020_fbB-B-FAV005_fbB-B-FAV018a_fb B-B-FAV011_fbB-B-FAV013_fbB-B-FAV009_fbB-B-FAV014_fb

As warm and rich and sublime as the sun itself must have been. Great job, MRP!
