Carmen and Addison Blue – A Mother/Daughter Session!

July 21, 2014

“That little guy was so cute! He’s a cute little fella.” – Addie about the rabbit we saw in the gardens.

Meet Carmen and Addie!  So my brother, sister and I grew up in New Mexico, and then when I was in middle school, we moved to small town Marshall, Missouri.  TOTAL culture shock.  But while we were there, we made some of the best friends.  Marshall is where my sister Rika became friends with Carmen.  They had class together, did art together, worked selling chicken in the small store together,  and now, years and years later, are still friends [I bet I could actually dig through pictures and find prom images of the two of them :)].

And then there’s Carmen’s three year old, who when I asked what her name told me vary sweetly “Addison Blue”.  And she’s spectacular.

Her beautiful curls were crazy-awesome the day we took photos [according to mom, Addie doesn’t let her put her hair in a pony tail anymore], and you can just tell hanging out with her, that she’s a free spirit.  If you ask, she LOVES animals, and all the colors, and bugs and flowers :).

Carmen, I’m so glad we were able to get together while I was in town to photograph you and awesome Addison!  Hope you love your mom/daughter session!
