Ann & Max! South Bend, Indiana Wedding Photography

August 11, 2015

“I say everybody’s crazy so what you need to do
You need to find somebody crazy like you.” -Josh Grinder, Crazy Like YouAM-W-FAV048_WEBIt was hot.  The church was gorgeous.  There was a chance of some tornado activity.  We snuck out in the rain for some amazing portraits.  And then we all partied.

While it wasn’t exactly as we had envisioned, Ann and Max wedding was AMAZING!

Favorite things about this wedding: When I said to Max [before the ceremony], “Well, your fiancé looks AM-AZE-ING!”, and his response was, “Well, ya!  Why do you think I’m marrying her!  She’s gorgeous!”,  Max’s sister Micah, because [duh], we’re ladies who share the same name!, Micah’s house, where all the ladies got ready [I LOVE when brides get ready in beautiful houses with character and lots of windows], the signing of the marriage certificate while they were still at the front of the church [we are all witnesses!], the DJ’s mad skills at getting the party started/continued on the dance floor.

You two are so sweet and I adore you. Thank you so much for inviting Stephanie and I to your day of committing to each other.

Can’t wait to share the rest of your beautiful wedding images with you!

Most memorable moment?

A: For me it was walking down the aisle and seeing the faces of all the family and friends who came to celebrate with us. It was so wonderful and I just remember being so ecstatically happy. Then I finally saw Max and was even more excited!

M:  Seeing Ann walk into the church. There was never any doubt, but seeing her walk in reaffirmed everything I was already thinking.

Advice for future brides/grooms?

A: I know it’s hard, but don’t stress too much about the little things! They don’t matter. It will be a wonderful day that goes by way too fast – enjoy it!

M: Air conditioning… like for real.

Funniest memory?

A:  My nephew (he’s five!) catching the garter and thinking it was a headband. He was pretty adorable. Also Max and I both can’t throw.

M:  When all of the kids were asked to clear the dance floor and lined up across the head table.

If you could do it all over would you change anything?

A: Not a bit!

M:  Air conditioning… like for real.
