Julie & Justin & Boys! Elkhart, Indiana Family and Engagement Session

“A woman’s heart is a deep ocean of secrets.” -Titanic

So Justin and Julie are awesome.  Favorite quotes from their session include, “This is the longest time I’ve had to look at you for quite a while” [Julie], and “This is like, a reverse prom pose!” [Julie]….  Needless to say, if they lived in Indiana, Julie and I would totally be real life friends ;).

And while Justin’s favorite thing to do might not include being photographed, he did a smashing job… and I might or might not have promised him I’d watch his favorite sci fi movie before shooting his wedding [which my husband is convinced I might hate, but I’m going to take one for the team!]

In addition to the two of them, they have two little boys!  Julie’s mom and dad graciously came with to watch the boys for a bit while we escaped to take some shots of just the two of them.  Lucky for us, Elkhart had a free movie and bounce house they were able to go hang out at!

ps: When we first spoke, we figured out that Julie and my husband went to school together at Tri State a few years back.  While I was working on these images, Ronald came up behind me and was like, “Who is that? She looks familiar, do I know her? Was she in a sorority?” Answers: Julie, yes, and I think so ;).
