Foltz Family! Indianapolis, Indiana Extended Family Photography

October 3, 2017

“The love of family and the admiration of friends is much more important than wealth and privilege.” – Charles Kuralt

You guys remember sweet Addie’s striking blue eyes from a couple years ago?  [Check them out HERE].  Addie and her mom, dad, aunts and grandma all joined me for another session!  This session was missing one beautiful soul who passed away this past year [I know I only met Addie’s grandpa Paul a couple times, but he was so kind and loving to both his family and me].  They also added another wonderful addition to the mix: the currently very smiley, sweet, adorable baby Paul [who is 6 months old! Almost the same age as my baby Zander!]

Baby Paul has the same sweet bright eyes Addie has, and I know he’s just a baby, but it so feels like he has the same demeanor and calm, sweet, awesome personality that his grandpa had.  He didn’t cry once during our session, and it felt like he was just taking it all in and watching everything that was going on around him.

When they were booking this session, Holly said to me, “Your pictures have brought us so much joy, remembering Dad over the past few months.”

So guys, here’s my encouragement to you: Get photos taken as a family together.

Sometimes it will be for you, and sometimes it will be for your kids and your grandkids.

I love my job, and am so grateful for the families that take the time to step in front of my camera to make sweet memories.  Memories to hang on the wall or to stick in albums.  Photos that will serve as discussions starters 10, 20, 30 years from now.

Foltz family, I love you all [even Ben, who I know doesn’t enjoy the whole photo taking thing ;)].  Thanks for once again trusting me to photograph your family and provide you with beautiful memories for years to come.

~Maike

These are AWESOME! I’m so glad you were able to capture their grandpa’s personality and love the last time you photographed this sweet family. How wonderful that this family understands the importance of family photos. These are absolutely gorgeous.
