Ella and Family! Newborn Baby Photography Session, Indianapolis, Indiana

January 21, 2019

“The family is one of nature’s masterpieces.” – George Santayana

If I’ve photographed you before, and we’re friends on Facebook, you already know that I now have access to A STUDIO!!!  I signed a year lease back in September for an awesome studio at The Stutz Building [hooray!]  And while I LOVE photographing people outside, and wandering around the city with folks, there is something SO cool and beautiful being in the studio.  It might be because I trained on studio lighting in school, and it feels a little like going back to my roots of photography.  And while the images themselves feel different than my outdoor work, maybe just a bit more refined, and classic, they still very much focus on relationships and interactions and love.

So I’ll be featuring a few of those sessions on the blog!  If you think a studio session is something you’d like more info on, give me a shout! [ohsnap at mrinaye dot com].  I’d love to chat more with you about the experience and what you’re looking for [baby, 1 year old, toddler, family, extended family, boudoir, etc]. AND, it doesn’t matter how cold it is outside, we can plan a session in any season and any weather [hooray!]

To start us off, this is the Smith family!  And beautiful new born Ella!  You might remember them from their session last spring with big sister Addi, who is always delightful to photograph.

We did a little bit of everything for their studio session with brand new baby Ella.  We did some full family some individuals with each family member, and some solo ones of the girls.  And let me just say, they were all AWESOME!  Addi was an awesome big sister, and so helpful with her brand new sister Ella.

Hope you guys are staying warm while the temperatures outside are FREEZING!  Here’s to a strong end to the first month of 2019! [#sayswhiletidyingup]
