You guys! Have I mentioned how much I love proposals? If not I FREAKIN LOVE PROPOSALS! And bonus when they’re your good friends. Ryan moved back to Indy about the same time Ronald and I moved back, and then we all started playing games together weekly-ish [my favorite board games are definitely Ticket to Ride, Azul and Alhambra in case you were wondering ;)].
Then last year, Ryan let it drop that he’d started seeing Liz, and pretty much from the first hang out, we knew they were smitten with each other.
Ryan had a few big proposal plans that were crushed because of the damn Corona, BUT… we hatched a plan that put me on a lake with them [and my kiddo, and Abby, another friend who was driving the boat], and BAM! He did the thing!
It was beautiful guys. Liz had no idea. And honestly, out on the boat on a lake just seems to fit them perfectly.
So here’s to the two of them! And to saying a glorious “YES!” before Ryan even asked the question.
You two are great. I’m so excited you’re planning on spending the rest of your lives loving each other.
